The singer’s lawyer ensures that those responsible for the leak of information will be held accountable in court.
This Thursday, April 13, images of the autopsy of the body of Marília Mendonça were shared on social networks. According to the Brazilian press, the photographs were obtained from the report by the Legal Medical Institute (IML) and the authorities have already opened an investigation.
Images of the autopsy of Marília Mendonça’s body, obtained from a report by the Legal Medical Institute (IML), circulated on the internet this Thursday, April 13, just over a year and a half after the artist’s death. The singer’s team told the press that the family’s lawyer, Robson Cunha, is looking for a way to punish those responsible for leaking information.
The team of the Brazilian artist, who died in November 2021, asked Internet users not to share the images. The family’s lawyer, Robson Cunha, stressed that he will do everything to punish those responsible for leaking information.
“Photos of the police investigation that deals with the accident and death of the singer Marília Mendonça began to circulate in WhatsApp groups”, can be read in the statement shared by the singer’s team.
“The singer’s mother, Ruth, preferred not to comment on the matter, asking only that people have respect and empathy and that they understand that there is a family that suffers every time situations like this occur”, they add.
For the lawyer, the leak of information is irresponsible, inhuman and criminal: “Those who disclose and continue to share this type of content are also incurring a crime and may be held liable in court. I ask that people become aware of the pain and suffering of this family and do not divulge this material”.
On Twitter, fans remembered an old publication by the Brazilian artist, made four years ago. “It’s even scary to die because people don’t even respect that moment”, wrote the artist on August 13, 2019, on Twitter.
