On Thursday, July 21, the House 6 committee released security footage showing Josh Hawley running for his own safety after protesters stormed the U.S. Capitol.
Democratic Congresswoman Elaine Luria showed the video after showing an image of Hawley raising his fist at protesters outside the building earlier in the morning.
Ms. Luria stated, “Senator Josh Hawley also had to flee. That afternoon, before the start of the joint session, he walked across the east facade of the Capitol.”
